Is Samsung LCD TV Series 5 bought in SIngapore compatible with the cable services in the Philippines?

We bought a Series 5 Samsung LCD TV in Singapore and brought it to Manila... we cannot get any signal.. is there a configuration that we need to do? or a converter that we need to set up? please help...

1. Just too bad . Philippines use NTSC TV SYSTEMS. Singapore use PAL TV SYSTEMS. those TV mainly for Singapore Local market will be only PAL TV systems. it never support NTSC TV SYSTEMS. No way to chance the TV systems . unless the TV is WORLD MULTI SYSTEMS.any world Multi systems TV cost MUCH MORE. 99 % of Singapore TV resellers sold only PAL TV . unless those place main for EXPORT market. le Mustafa . OPTION TO USE . can be Don. buy an NTSC - PAL converters unit. sometimes like this. http://www.converters.TV/signals/ntsc_to_pal.html aviliable at some big tv shop in Manila / Sim Lim Tower Singapore . prices around USD 40-60. connect you cable TV BOX RCA out put to NTSC - PAL converters in put and connect PAL signals out from converters unit to TV AV in put via RCA cable. the unit also allow for you to connect all you DVD / VCR /VCD that use in Philippines as only NTSC systems. ^^**** if you do not use cable box TV. buy an NTSC TUNER connect to NTSC -PAL unit and TV AV in put for free view channel . NTSC tuner may available in Manila TV shop but very easy to get such tuner in COMPUTER SHOP. some 5 series models support USB . that more easy to get USB tuner unit in computer shop.
