Should i go for an LCD TV with a frame rate of 50Hz or 100Hz?

Television's in question are:- Philips 42PFL5604H/12 LCD HD 1080p Digital Television, 42 Inch Philips 42PFL7404H LCD HD 1080p Digital Television, 42 Inch About a £150 difference in price. Does that extra 50Hz really make a difference?

1. I'm in the USA, but there are still 2 different frame rates. To answer your question, it depends on what you're watching. If you watch a lot of sports or fast-moving scenes, that extra 50Hz will make a huge difference. Instead of a fast-moving object being a blur on the screen, it's seen as a single object.
2. It doesnt make THAT big of a difference, but while playing fast action games or movies you can see the difference.
3. Higher frame rates will result in a smoother picture. 50 Hz is visible.
4. only on occasions will you see the difference....but get the 100hz you will regret if y don't...........................
