LCD TV Rating

I'm looking at buying a 52" plus rear projection LCD/DLP tv. I need some reviews that you have, pros and cons.

I just want to know if any one has had problems with different brands and the pros and cons of a rear projection over a LCD or plasma.

  1. I brought a 55" Sony and I got last years model and its about 1500 to 2000 less than this years. Its a great TV, it has a really bright picture. Let your eyes be your judge and also ask the salesperson what did they do to get the picture that they have, and you should do the same. Spend the money to get the best cabling that you can. Now for the other one LCD or Plasmas you should consider that the plasmas are the bigger in screen size not sure you can get a 55" LCD TV The plasmas have a few flaws to them that I don't like. They have loud cooling fans and if you lose a picture on them for any reason for the most part you will have to buy a new TV because there screens can't be regenerated. If your going to spend the money on one make sure you get some sort of replacement plan in case you have a bad one. I brought a Vizio 32" for my bedroom and I am happy with it and it was a excellent price at 699.00. So there alot of option out there just let your eyes be the judge and ask question and get it from more than one source. Hope that helps.

  4. Well I am a seller on ebay and I have a few flat panels available. So if you will, go to ebay and click on COMMUNITIES at the top. Then, next to the "find a member" button, type in uptown_apparel and click the button. You will see that name at the top of their list and to the right of it click on "seller's items". There are 4 tv's there that i am selling but the 32 inch is currently unavailable so maybe there's something else there you like. click on the items for all the details. You can email me at uptownapparel@yahoo.com about these items. Good luck!
