1. Nice TV but your paying over the odds for the brand name I would go with Samsung picture quality just as good and you will pay less
2. Dont bother with it al all... its not even 1080p HD, just HD Ready which wont be able to use the full quality of Blue Ray or PS3 or even HDTV , and for 900 its silly, you may as well drop 3 inches to 37" and get full 1080p HD for a hundred quid less (look at samsung tv)
3. Correction, "Steve," ... the Sony 40S3000 is not "HD Ready." Nobody makes HD Ready TVs anymore. It's either 720p, 1080i, or 1080p - full HD. The sony is 720p
