What is the difference between plasma and lcd televisions?
Public Comments
- Plasma- Plasma tvs use a plasma gas that makes up the pictures. Plasmas are subject to screen burn which takes an image and inprints the picture into the screen if left on too long. Plasmas also have many problems with altitudes and they can never be laid on their side or back during transit cause you can damage them. LCD- Lcd uses millions of pixels to make up the picture. Lcds are dominating the market with new technology and they have smaller sizes ranging from 15" and up where plasmas start at about 40". Lcds can be laid any which way without worrying about damage. All and all lcd is a better bet over plasma
- Plasma tv's are rubbish and lcd tv's are good.
