Anybody see a noticable difference between LCD TV's with 60hz refresh rate to 120hz refresh rates?
It is about $200 difference in price on most models. Just seeing if it is worth it.

- You will probably notice a difference if you watch a lot of movies that are shot in 24p! 24p is a designation that means the movie is filmed in 24fps(frames per second). This frame rate is supposed to give the movie a more cinema feel to it! However...it doesn't handle fast motion well. On TV's with 60hz refresh rates, the 24fps doesn't divide evenly into the TV's refresh rate. The TV has to compensate by repeating certain frames more then once. This repeating of frames results in a motion artifact known as motion 'juddering' during fast motion. Also known as a strobe affect! The TV just can't keep up! TVs with higher refresh rates do not have this problem do to the additional speed of which the TVs operate and the even division of 24 frames into 120 and 240(Hz)! Hope this helps! Just FYI...you do not have to worry about any motion problems with a Plasma TV! 600hz refresh rates and .001ms response times = unbeatable motion clarity & smoothness!
