can LCD monitor be used as a TV?
As well as you know the rate of LCD TV is much high in ratio to LCD monitor fro computers. I want to know if i Buy LCD monitor and a External TV tuner Card and connect it through my DTH (Direct to Home). Will it work just TV means can I watch all TV programs on it?

- yeah you can do this and it will work fine. I do it with my spare pc

- You can get Video to VGA converters. Some external TV tuner cards also support VGA monitors
