- Check the manual for the LCD TV, see which resolutions it supports
- Yes, I would check the manual or the samsung website if I were you.
- 32-inch Samsung LCD HDTVs have a native resolution of 1360x768. You CANNOT go higher than that on it. When the TV has a native resolution of 1360x768, that means the TV's LCD panel is composed of 990,080 thin-film transistor-controlled dots arranged in a physical rectangular grid 1360 dots wide by 768 dots high. Obviously you will NOT be able to display a resolution higher than what the screen has physical pixel dots for. There are no HDTVs out there with a resolution of 1900x1600, by the way. HDTV video tops out at 1920x1080 resolution (aka 1080p Full High Definition). Usually LCD HDTVs 40-inch or bigger have 1080p panels that can do 1920x1080 resolution.
