is there a way to upgrade the refresh rate on my LCD TV without buying a new TV?
I just bought a 47 inch 1080p TV just about a year ago. It has a 60 Hz refresh rate. Now I'm seeing on TV that there is TVs with a 240 up to a 600 Hz refresh rate . In my opinion I would expect $2400 would last awhile.

- You can't stop time and you can't stop marketing hype. TVs will always improve. No, there is nothing you can do to upgrade your TV, but your TV is just fine as it is.
- You can't replace the refresh rate on your tv. Yes, they are now at 240HZ on LCD tv and in a few more months it'll be 480HZ like Plasma tv before and now at 600HZ. That's the reason LCD tv's have motion blurness on fast action sports. Price of tv's have also dropped, a 46" plasma from Panasonic is now selling at Costco for under $1,000. Electronics are expensive when first introduced and drops as time goes up with more upgrades.
