just got new samsung lcd tv le40m87bd it is connected with top scart leads to dvd and cable.now and then it has white lines from top to bottom of tha tv and goes all the way across from left to right any idea what causes this. thanks

1. Sorry, I know nowt about tvs.
2. wanna buy same TV, and read bout same problem on one of the russian forums. but the guy had those white lines only when watching in 1080i or p. so it was all bout TV. and he had it replaced.
3. Hi, Go back to were you bought the tele and tell them the problem you have. If possible they may be able to swap the set for you, if not ring the Samsung hot line that came on the blue warranty card in the box.
