How do I stop ghosting and temporary burn in on my Samsung LCD TV?

I have a Samsung LE26R41B 26" LCD TV. However, I notice 'ghosting' on dark pictures (like in some games, night times in films for example). Also, temporary burn in happens a LOT, like for leaving a picture on for 5 minutes sometimes! Can these be stopped or reduced?

1. make sure all connections are hand tightend and the less amount of games, vcr/dvd players it goes through, the better the signal, unless, which i do, use rca connections for ur games and vcr/dvd player, or an s-video cord.
