Will Playing a X-box 360 damage a LCD Plasma TV at all?
I am referring to the refresh rate the X-Box 360 has and will the refresh rate damage a 42 inch LCD Plasma TV?

- lcd no plasma yes, the images will burn into the screen on the plasma if the images are idle for 5 minutes or so.
- No it should be fine, whether it's an LCD or a plasma (it has to be one or the other, there's no LCD-plasma in one). Some of the first plasma TV's had problems with image burn-in and things, but any current or recent-year models should be fine as long as you don't do things like leave it paused on the same screen for a very long time. Refresh rate just has to do with how often it refreshes the moving images on screen, and would effect issues like ghosting where you would see an afterimage or blurring behind fast-moving objects on screen. LCD's, DLP's and plasma's often have this issue which is why a good refresh rate is important to look for when shopping, and also one of the reasons why good 'ol CRT tube HDTV's still have the best picture quality.
- Boogaduh is correct. Although lcd refresh rates are behind to what plasma's can do. You will be safe with either.
- Well first of all it is Plasma or LCD no such thing as a LCD plasma TV. With the LCD's your pretty safe with the plasma you still have possible problems with Burn in so if your looking at buying a tv for your Xbox go with LCD.
