Frame Rate Conversion for LCD TV?

Is there a mechanism that exists that will convert my 60Hz 1080p 42' Sharp Aquos LCD TV to 120Hz? I love the smoothness of 120Hz and was wondering if there was some sort of converter or something I could buy to achieve this. Thanks!

2. No. It has to do with the hardware in the tv...not any kind of software or anything you can upgrade. Sadly, if you want the 120hz, you'll have to upgrade your tv.
