LCD TV Rating

How many times per second do LCD computer screens or LCD tv screens refresh the screen? Can you adjust the?

refresh rates? If you are reading text on an LCD computer screen, can you stop the screen from refreshing so it is less tiring on the eyes? Are the LCD screens for labtop computers different from those for desktop computers?

1. LCDs are the same for laptops and desktops. You can't stop it from refreshing. The refresh rate is usually 60-75Hz but can go as high as 120Hz.
2. Well you cant stop it from refreshing but you can adjust the refresh rate by using computer software for your video card or sometimes the software that came with your monitor. and like was just answered laptop and desktop LCD's are the same.
