How do I hook up my 360 to my LCD TV?

I finally bought my first flat screen LCD - a 37 inch Toshiba. How do I properly hook up my XBox 360 so it's set to the best possible frame rate ratio or whatever. I think the 360 is set at 720, so how do I set my TV up so it gives me the best possible graphics? I'd really appreciate any help on this. I'm a LCD noob.

1. Connect the tv to the Xbox like normal. If using the red, blue, green, white and red cable that came with your X-Box make sure the selector switch on that cable is set to HD TV If using an HDMI cable just plug it in to the TV Then in the X Box Dashboard I think under Console ,or Display Settings there is an option to select your aspect ratio and your TV Resolution. The X-Box will do 1080 if your TV will.
