How would you rate a 26 inch Samsung and Sharp LCD TV/PC Monitor?
I am thinking of buying one of these to use as a PC monitor and to watch tv. ratio is about 5000:1 on both models.Do you have any other suggestions?

- they're both probably good, but i prefer samsung. that's just me though.
- I prefer the samsung as well... Are they both monitors? Because if one has a built in tuner I would take that one. The tuner picks up local HD channels. If they are both monitors than you will need a HD source i.e. cable or sat to receive HD. Check and see which one has a blacker black to you. They both say they have a 5000 to one contrast ratio check and see what looks blacker to you.
- Samsung and Philips/Magnavox have the highest failure rates and no support and parts once out of warranty. Samsungs have poor picture and poor designed products. Sharp hase OK LCDs but poor support as well, alot of the Sharps have been having problems with their LCD Displays comming apart. The best LCDs are the Sony, good support and alot better quality than any. Followed by Toshiba.
