Why do larger samsung lcd tv's take longer to come on then smaller ones? My Samsung 26 inch HDTV T260 Montior turns on faster then my 46" Samsung Tv Monitor? I just think its odd that one takes longer to turn on just because of its size.

Where can I buy a cheap 40¨Samsung LCD TV(LA40R7) and how much? I want to buy the 40¨LCD Samsung TV but I don't know if the price that I found it for it a good price. It's for RM8000 at SENQ, but I still believe I can find it for cheapper. The model is LA40R7. If you have any ideas where I can get it for less than that, please let me know the price and the place. My samsung lcd tv loses picture but i still hear audio, any ideas as to the issue? I have a 40 in Samsung LCD TV and occasionally the screen will go blank but I will still hear audio. When I turn on the TV the picture comes back but will go blank after about 1-2 minutes. The connections are solid and It's done this with and without the cable box, any ideas as to what the problem could be?

Why does my Samsung LCD TV screen have a blue tone when I connect peripherals using component cables? I have a 19-inch Samsung flat-screen LCD TV. When I connect peripherals (DVD player, XBox 360, etc.) through the component ports, everything has a blue-ish tone to it. I know it's not the component cables themselves because I've tried 3 different sets of component cables and they all have the same blue tone result. So I'm guessing there's something wrong with the TV itself. If I connect things through other ports (S-Video, Composite, DVI, etc.), everything is fine. Could I possibly have changed a setting on my TV by mistake to make everything blue when connecting things through the component ports? Or is this just an issue with the TV itself? How do I unplug my Samsung LCD TV safely?~? I want to unplug my Samsung LCD to clean the cords because dust and dirt build up. When I turn off the LCD theres a red dot at the bottom right of TV(not the screen) meaning like power is still on I guess? Why does my Samsung LCD tv have a shadow? I've had the tv for about 3 years and for a while now it looks like there is a faint black mark on the the right side of the screen. Why is my samsung lcd tv screen black when connected to my toshiba laptop using a vga cable? i tried trouble shooting already. changing resolutions and doing what the computer tells me to do but absolutely nothing is going on screen. it works with the s cable but the picture is lousy. i thought using the vga cable would give a better picture just like it does on the laptops lcd. the laptop is 2 years old but the tv is brand new. could there be compatibility issues? please help!

Comparing Sony Bravia LCD TV and Samsung LCD? I am looking to buy a 46" Sony Bravia tv with 1080p. Then I see the Samsung tv for about the same $$, yet has better specifications (contrast ratio...). The picture is even better than Sony. But then you can not compare the picture because they set the brightness, contrast... different for different tv, at the store. I was told that Sony use most of its LCD tv components from Samsung. Is that true? Is there a lot of different between Sony's and Samsung's, beside the look?

Why is my Samsung LCD tv so dark? When I watch a movie or tv show thats taking place in the night time , the movie i mean , its too dark .I mean I can barely pick out shadows ...When i watch the same movie up stairs on my 15 yr old tv its perfect , a little dark because its a nighttime scene but you can pick everything out ...I called samsung and they said samsung tv show black when things are dark ..I called future shop and they said its not because its samsung its becauise its an lcd tv , he said plasma tv 's are best ...its becoming a big problem , i need another tv but afraid it will be the same ...can anyone help me .

How to Resolve Fluctuating Volume on Samsung LCD TV Model LNS2651D? We have the TV hooked up to a Comcast Digital Cable Box. When we are listening to TV programs the volume is ok; but as soon as a commercial comes on the TV the volume drops so low we have to adjust it louder; then when the TV program resumes, we have to turn the volume up. This also occurs sometimes when we change the channels; the volume drops. Any suggestions on resolving this problems is appreciated. It's a hassle with this back and forth volume control. Thank you.

Sennheiser RS 110 Wireless Headphone frequency connection problem to Samsung LCD TV? How does one power on the Sennheiser RS110 wireless headphones and have them work the first time around? I have to go the a rather painful 5-10 minute (sometimes more) trial and error process of powering down my TV and/or headphones several times in order for the audio to come in properly. What is the correct sequence? Headphones on first then television? Hoping someone has some insight. And yes I have connected the RCA audio output to the base. It's very hit and miss it seems and doesn't seem to be a very common problem. Perhaps I have a defective pair?

Samsung LCD TV Settings Keep Resetting? I own a 40" Samsung LCD, and every time I go in and calibrate all of my settings, when I turn the TV off or change channels, it resets. And I know it can save stuff to different input channels, but it's for my Xbox 360 and it resets EVERY time. It's really annoying, the default settings it has are horrendous, and I had it tweaked very nicely. Any help?

My Sharp VCR's RCA connectors is only Yellow (Video) and only one Audio inputs but on Samsung LCD TV's is Yellow, White and Red. the picture on my new samsung LCD tv is not very good it seems patchy or pasty what's wrong with it? i have directTV running into it and the on screen guides are perfectly sharp and clear but when I'm watching TV the only words that i can think of to explain it is patchy, pasty, square, or maybe the pixels.

Using external speakers with a PS3 and Samsung LCD TV? I just bought a Samsung 40" LCD TV (Series 5 503, Model: LN40D503F6FXZC) and have my PS3 hooked up to it with an HDMI cable. I'm trying to use a couple of external speakers for audio and can't figure out how to send audio to said speakers instead of the TV speakers. The connections from the speakers are simply two RCA cables, one for the left and one for the right. The connections on the TV are as follows: Component/AV in (NO AV out) No headphone jack I've thoroughly gone through the TV menu as well and have not found an option to switch audio to an external source. I just bought a 19" LCD Samsung TV. It keeps breaking up, cutting out and saying weak signal.? Also, the volume is real low. Samsung tech person blamed all this on antenna & told me to log onto antennaweb.org (It's hooked up to rabbit ears)-antennaweb says I need a roof antenna! I live in an old apt building. I can't get a roof antenna. Does this mean I have to take the TV back? The crappy old Daewoo was working (not great) with rabbit ears. If I get cable (don't really want to) will that give me good reception? Am I just unable to have an LCD in this apt with rabbit ears? I like easy set ups-simple, low maintenance stuff-what do I do? (Got to upgrade from the Daewoo).

Should I buy a 40"-46" Samsung LCD TV, or plasma, or dlp? Went looking at tv's today. I checked out all the brands. They best picture (color, pixelation, picture change) we found was Samsung (the runner up was Sony). We didn't like the black tones in the DLP, but the salesman said it's better in the dark. (I know the picture overall is better, but color pixelation?) The plasma and the LCD were beautiful, but I have read in user reviews that they have problems. The plasma has burn-in issues and the LCD TV would mute itself randomly. I guess there was a firmware update for the LCD that fixes it. Also, they mentioned Samsung has crappy customer service. Am I reading the rantings of a few or should we go with a different brand? PLEASE HELP! All experiences appreciated!

Something wrong with Samsung TV Voume? I use headphones on my 19" Samsung LCD TV when I play 360. Recently, when I unplug my headphones from the back of the TV, the TV speaker volume doesn't go on, and it still shows volume control for headphones. The only way I fix it is by inserting and removing the headphones, until finally it switches. Just today, twice, the volume automatically switches to headphones in the middle of my viewing! What's going on?

problem with samsung lcd tv? I have a samsung ln-t4053h that a friend gave to me because the tv would click on and off. I replaced a couple of the bad capactiors with the correct replacements. The tv now turns on as indicated by the light at the bottom but there is no picture or sound. When I press the channel/volume buttons on the tv itself it beeps but that is all. The tv stays on until i turn it off. What else could be wrong with it? Possibly the board that the audio/video cables go into is bad? Has anyone else with this companies lcd tv's had a problem like this?

i'm looking at the samsung LN52A650 LCD TV, what's the difference between the newer models of this TV? i was looking at this TV thinking it was the best LCD out there, then they come out with newer models for a lot more cash. I don't really care if there's new features that aren't important to me, all i care about is the picture quality. Is the pic quality between this model and the newer models the same? and What features are different?

Loose Signal on a new Samsung LCD TV I bought a new 40 inches Samsung LCD TV 2 months ago. Great TV and really love it. However, I have problems with the component input. My DVD player was initially connected to Component 1 on my TV. It worked fine for the 1st month. Then after the 1st month, while I was watching a DVD in the DVD player, I had a black screen that indicated "NO SIGNAL" for 1-2 seconds and then image came back and then lost again. At first, it was only once or twice then became very frequent. So I switched the connection to component 2 on my TV. It worked fine for about 2 wks, but now it says "no signal" entirely with the DVD player on. My DVD player is fine because I tried it on another TV. So now I dont know if it's the component cable or my NEW TV....very frustrated!!! Can anybody help me on this??? Thank you.

I have an HD LCD Samsung tv, buying a PS3 today, but not the HDMI cables yet, will it still look good? Ok, I would be confused by my question, so you might be too... I have a 42 inch Samsung LCD HD with 1080... I am buying a PS3 in a few hours, but I don't plan on buying the HDMI cables just yet... Which Samsung LCD TV models have cableCARD? I see people referencing Samsung's cablecard feature. Which models in the 40" - 46" range have cablecards? I'm researching LCDs and know nothing about them - yet. My research leads me to believe that Samsung is the best issueless LCD (or a contender, anyway) and hard to beat price-wise, but do they offer cablecard in any of their 2007 sets? Blurring on my Samsung LCD TV I have a Samsung LN32A450 32 inch LCD HDTV. While watching TV programming on it via an HD DVR(digital cable) I thought I was noticing ghosting and I heard the TV make strange noises(especially when off) so I called Samsung. First I made sure the ghosting I thought I was seeing wasn't caused by the DVR. Anyways they sent a tech out. When the tech came he said he didn't notice any ghosting. But he replaced the motherboard of the TV anyway. It didn't make a difference. And about the noise he said that that's normal and its due to the TV heating up. Since he left I've been paying close attention and I realized that what I was noticing was in fact blurring not ghosting. It just came to me that maybe the blurring is caused by the light bulbs inside the TV right behind the screen. Is it possible that the blurring I'm noticing is caused by faulty light bulbs? Could the strange noises I've been hearing also be caused by faulty light bulbs? Also could the blurring and the noises be related in some way?

Samsung LCD TV- sounds but no image? I have a Samsung LCD tv. It was working really well before, but recently when I turn on the tv, nothing appears on the screen (black like the tv's not on) but the sounds are playing. Samsung lcd tv is acting weird? When I turn it on after it's been off for a really long time it takes forever turn on and when it does it has a bunch of purple dots on it or a rainbow effect. If I turn it off and back on the problem is gone. Then the next day it's the same thing. The warranty is expired does anyone know what's wrong with it and how much it will cost to repair?

Direct TV and Samsung LCD TV? Hello, I recently setup my DirectTV Receiver to my LCD TV using the S-Video and Audio Cables (Red, White). Everything is working fine but I do I get true S-Video connectivity while the coaxial cable is plugged into ANT 1 In (Air) terminal on the back of the TV from the DirectTV Receiver "Out To TV"? If I am getting true S-Video connectivity while the coaxial cable is running from the back of the DriectTV Receiver (Out to TV) and into the back of the TV ANT 1 In Air please explain how? I tried unplugging the cable from the back of the TV (ANT 1 In (AIR) but I do not receive a signal even after running through the reconfiguration on the TV. The "Satellite In" cable on the back of the DirectTV receiver is obviously plugged in. The simple chart DirectTV user guide shows that the "Antenna In" connection, on the back of the TV and the "Out to TV" coaxial connection on the back of the DirecTV Receiver is not applied when using the S-Video connection and the Red, White Audio connection. Lastly

Samsung LCD TV won't power on Model is Samsung LN32A330 J1D Red light on power button is on.? Samsung LCD TV won't power on Model is Samsung LN32A330 J1D Out of warranty. Red light on power button is on, so it's plugged in. Set won't power on with remote or with power button. I've tried unplugging, waiting an hour or so, and re-plugging. Still won't come on. This happened twice before over thelast few days, but one of many subsequent attempts powered it on. Now it won't power on at all. I've heard of similar problems with other Samsung models that were solved by replacing capacitors in the power supply. I have fixed loose solder joints in old CRT TV's before, so I'm not afraid of replacing capacitors. I've just never had the back off of one of these flat pannel TV's. Any suggestions? Am I on the right track?

Samsung LCD TV- Sound problem? Hi all. I bought a 40'' Samsung LCD just over a year ago but have never been happy with the sound quality. On certain frequencies there is an awful distortion in the sound that I can only describe as like an electrical buzzing. I rang Samsung while it was still under warranty and they referred me to a repair centre who took the tv away and replaced speakers. Their written report said that 'they could find nothing wrong with the sound but replaced the speakers anyway'. I thought that a bit condescending as there was clearly a problem. Anyhow, after much detective work I found that the problem was down to the ill-fitting casing on the tv. A friend poited out that the bar which runs along the bottom at the ambilight had a very small gap between it and the tv casing and that was causing the buzzing or distortion. Does anyone else have this issue and if so, how did you rectify it. The bass sound etc on these tv's are pure rubbish in comparison to most others. Any advice greatly appreciated. thank you.

Two samsung lcd tv's, one remote.? I have two samsung lcd tv/monitors. They are both syncmaster t220hd's. I use one as a desktop monitor and one for xbox gaming and tv use. Thing is there is a control conflict. Both are affected by control use. One control can easily sense both lcds. Is there any way I can change the frequency on one syncmaster, so that only one can be affected by a control? Btw, there are other samsung lcds in the house that can be used by the same remote, so having two different models wont solve my problem. I obviously want to use what I currently have as well. Any help, greatly appreciated.

My Samsung LCD TV has white marks when powered off? I have had 2 Samsung R81 LCD TV's in the past 48 hours and both have suddenly produced white marks on the screen after an hour of watching TV / Xboxing (after initial setup)... The picture seems perfect when the TV is on although for some reason it is producing white marks on the TV which are visible when the TV is off. Currently the display has two shortish white lines (thickish) on it. Does anyone have ANY idea what could be causing this ? Thanks for the help... Just to confirm... I have a 27 inch Samsung PIP lcd tv, which I purchased because it was one of the only sets that featured the PIP capability. How do i connect my x-box 360 to my Samsung 37" lcd tv? I have a samsung 37" HD Lcd TV and was wondering how do i connect my x-box 360 to it.? I have the Official 360 VGA AV Cable, which i plug into the VGA socket on the back of the tv, but when i switch over to that source on the tv it just comes back saying that there is no signal.
