What is the best 52" LCD TV to buy right now? I want to get a new TV and I don't know what brand or model is best. I've checked into Sony and Samsung, and while both brands get lots of praise, there are also some very negative reviews.
Best plasma or LCD Tv?? I would like to know which tv has the best performance. I am looking for a 50 inch tv that would be either a plasma or LCD. The price doesnt matter. So which 50 inch tv has the best performance, best quality picture?? I looked at reviews but they score tvs including the price, which here would not be a factor. Thank you
What is the best 46-47 inch lcd tv available for $1200 or less? i own a ps3 and xbox 360 and want to use it with these as well as digital cable and blu ray movies on the ps3 i have been looking at sharp aquos lcds but it all the reviews say that sharp aquos have problems with horizontal bands running across the screen, how serious is this problem??
What is the best 37" LCD TV for its money around or under $1500? I want to get a 37" TV, basically I need something thats no larger than 38" wide, otherwise I would go as big as a 40". This also restricts me on certain models of the 37"s like Phillips cause the speakers are on the side. Through my research, it seems the LCDs way outweigh buying a plasma. So I was wondering which LCD would be the best for its money, plus the reliability factor? I'm not worried about the speakers on the TV, but definitely want stuff like a PC input, HD, and the traditional input types. Any suggestions of your favorites or even references to top choice reviews would be appreciated. Thanks.
What is currently the best LCD or Plasma TV on the market that is under $1500? I am looking to buy a new Plasma or LCD TV for my apartment, however in looking at reviews everyone gives almost all LCD TVs 4-5 stars, which is not really that accurate as they cannot all be 4-5 stars. I am looking for a TV between 40"-50". The one I am beginning to consider is this one 42" Philips LCD 1080p HDTV w/ 120Hz Natural Motion 42PFL7403D/27 . I found it for $1300 at sam's club. Any thoughts?
Best 32" LCD TV you've seen? What is the best 32" tv you've seen on a digital (non HD signal)? I've read a lot of reviews of tvs but I'd like people's personal experiences. I don't currently have an HD signal for my regular tv watching so I would like to know about the non HD picture quality - some that I've seen look very grainy (although ps3 etc will provide some HD functionality). Thanks a lot.

Which 32" LCD TV is best for watching Standard Def Time Warner Digital Cable? I have Time Warner Cable. It is Digital but I do not have an HD box and I'm not getting one either. I have been reviewing the Sony KDL M4000 and the Samsung 450. Thing is that I'm not sure if these Tv's handle standard def viewing well because the show rooms have them set to an HD channel feed. Anyone know about this?

What LCD TV is best: Sony? Samsung? LG? Hi there! At the moment I have a 32"LCD Sony Bravia Tv. However, I would like to get a bigger one that is 40" or 42" that still offers quality sound and picture. But I have two questions: 1. Is LCD better than plasma in order to watch films, dvds or play wii? Do LCD tvs provide a clearer picture? 2. What make (and series if you know) would you recommend? a) Sony seems to be the best in quality and sound but only offers the 40". b) Samsung -no idea but seems to have good reviews. c) LG have loads of models but I have read some bad reviews. I would really appreciate any feedback from you. I am sure that some of you guys have had the same dilemma :) Cheers

Best HDTV's vs Sharp Aquos(Please need help)? According to CNET these are the top 5 HDTV's http://reviews.cnet.com/best-hdtvs/ See here's my problem I don't want a plasma even though technically speaking it's a better fit for me(I’m a movie buff). I prefer an LCD, unfortunately for me CNET's review only includes 1 LCD in the top 5. From what I’ve been reading online Samsung seem to be the best LCD HDTV's out there. http://www.consumersearch.com/www/electronics/lcd-tv/review.html But my original choice was Sharp Aquos(the 1080p or 1080i models). simply because it seemed like the perfect HDTV overall, it also included this QAM tuner which had me sold instantly. http://shop.consumersearch.com/sharp_lc-42d64u/linkin_id-8008764/sf-1/pid-45299080/NM-30/ND-30/VA-5/OP-w101 But then there was the Samsung LN52A650 that CNET recommended, and I thought what if I make the wrong decision. http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-tvs/samsung-ln52a650/4505-6482_7-32887597.html?tag=txt When it comes down to it there is really one thing that is most important to me than price, image quality, even performance. That is can I use either of the two TV’s I mentioned as a computer monitor?. And would I any kind of upgrades or special cables. Or could I just use the monitor cable that originally comes with the computer?. EDIT:When it comes down to it there is really one thing that is more important to me than price, image quality, even performance. What is the best HDTV LCD TV? I am trying to avoid some of those horror stories about purchasing a bad one from stores and online. I've heard reviews about buying from a store and came home noticing the picture was hard to watch during the dark scenes. I've also heard that they bought a TV online and when they received it and watched it for 4hrs it just quit on them. My budget is $1500.00 and I will try to purchase it in the next week. I am torn between Sony, Samsung, and the Sharp Aquos. What do you all recommend and where to buy it, online or at a store?
Which LCD tv is best for me? I am an avid playstation 3 gamer and love movies also. I have about £700 to spend. I want a 40" - 42" LCD with low input lag for games being quite important. Also 100hz and 24p support for films would be great. Also future proofed with freeview HD. I hae looked at reviews and there always seems to be something missing. thanks
What is the best (model)tv (ie, LCD, Plasma, DLP etc) in a 42 size? I've been reading a lot of reviews and some mention about "burn-outs," "ghost," angle viewing, and is it friendly user? ..I want a good 42" TV for a room of about 16x18..not too much lighting. But that will last at least 10 years. Price of TVs (flat, projection, etc) has drop however they're still a huge investment...PLEASE HELP!

Magnavox or Sanyo for LCD TV? Walmart has a sale on Sanyo 46" LCD 1080p. Sams Club is selling a 42" Magnavox for the same price as the Sanyo. I've been doing research on which is the best LCD brand and my head is swimming right now with all the infor on questions to ask and things to look for out there. Both TVs have mixed reviews so that is not helping much. Any tech experts out there know which of the two is a steal? If I was to go larger, say 50", which brand is the best all things considered?
Which LCD TV is the best? I'm looking for at least a 46", 720p b/c I only want it for HD TV and digital signals, and under $2000...thoughts? Vizio? Sony? Samsung? If you have model numbers and/or a link to sound reviews, please send them my way. Thanks!

Which HDTV is better for gaming, Plasma or LED LCD? (Best Picture)? Samsung 55" 8 series LED LCD TV is by far the best picture I have witnessed myself. However, I keep reading reviews that plasmas offer better pictures for movies. Can someone that has actually personally seen these TV's tell me which one has the better overall picture quality?
32" LCD TV Which one? What 32" LCD TV is best in your opinion? Perhaps a review on whatever you have would be usefull?

I have 1500 to spend and would like an LCD (not plasma) over 40'. Best Buys has three possible choices and it comes with a free TV stand. My choices are: - LG 42" Flat-Panel LCD HDTV ” • Model: 42LC7D - Samsung High-Design 40" Flat-Panel LCD HDTV • Model: LN-S4052D - Samsung 40" Flat-Panel LCD HDTV • Model: LNT4042H Any one has any of these models and would like to place their input? Need review on a Toshiba "26 LCD TV 26AV502U? I bought this TV at Circuit City it had went on sale. I figured well its Toshiba so it should be a safe bet. Compare to the other no name brands TV such as Element, Dynex and some others. I read review on Best Buy and Circuit City most are positive some few negative. I have to be honest although its a good picture I am not all that impress. I am using an Antennae to receive over the HDTV signals. I have played around with the settings. Anyone has experience with this TV or know where I can get a professional review of it. Toshiba 26" LCD HDTV TOP 26AV502U
what LCD TV should I get? Hello everyone, I am planning to buy an LCD TV, probably 46” or above. My budget is somewhere around $1200.00. There are lots of brand out there and I am not sure which one I should get. I know Sony is used to be the best, but I am seeing lots of Samsungs good reviews. I was wondering if someone could advice me what to look and what not to look. Thanks.
Which Plasma TV is best out of these two? First off, i'm looking for answers from people who KNOW what they are talking about, not people who THINK they know what they are talking about. Secondly, i've heard all the "LCD TV's are better than Plasma" and "Plasma TV's need re-gassing" stories before. What I really need is advice on the following: I've decided to purchase a 42" Plasma TV to replace my ageing Rear Projection TV but I don't want to spend a fortune. I've whittled my list down to two options but now can't decide between the two. Samsung PS42Q97HDX (Best price £669.99 delivered) Panasonic TH42PX70B (Best price £719.99 + £24.99 del) Both have similar reviews and seem to be the best in their class. Which would you go for? Why? What features does one have that the other doesn't? Is there another Plasma you'd recommend? Have you seen better price? Any advice would be much appreciated. I'm confused!!
Good 22''-32'' lcd TV's? So I'm looking for an lcd tv between 22''-32'', priced between $300-$500. I came here because, for the most part, I don't trust the review sites or what the stores tell you, and I have minimal experience with these TV's. I've heard about motion blur being a problem and am also wondering if this would apply to such small TV's. tl;dr What's the best TV for my price range? I don't seem to be able to reply directly but I guess this will work. Any suggestions on what to look for?
Best calibration disc for Westinghouse 32" LCD SK-32H240S? I've checked reviews though that said the image is great once calibrated right, but doing it myself just isn't working, my tv supports up to 1080i but I think the native resolution is 720p, not sure, but what I need is a good calibration disc, I've looked at the monster one but some people say it's useless with 1080i lcd tvs, so anyone know any good calibration discs that would best suit my tv?

Trying to figure out what tv would be the best to get? Ive been looking for weeks on what tv would be the best to get im looking to get a 52" LCD tv can't afford the LED-LCD's or i would get one of those. I've been looking at the Samsung LN52B750 52-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LCD HDTV, Samsung LN52B630 52-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV, Sony BRAVIA V-Series KDL-52V5100 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV, Sony BRAVIA XBR Series KDL-52XBR9 52-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LCD HDTV, Sony BRAVIA Z Series KDL-52Z5100 52-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV, reading all the reviews on what people think just has me so up in the air, i know to look for stuff like refresh time and contrast ratio as they are close plus is it really worth it to spend the extra money for a 240Hz LCD tv than a 120 can you notice a bigger difference and what should i look for? the tv is going to be used more for gaming than anything else. i just dont know what to look for to make my decision, any help would be appreciated
Which lcd TV manufacturer should I buy and where to buy? I'm trying to decide whether to buy a samsung or sony lcd television. I will probably wait at least a couple of weeks to buy, or at least until I receive my tax refund. Based on reviews for a 26 inch lcd tv (since the tv will go in my bedroom) I have narrowed it down to those 2 manufacturers. Does anyone have any suggestions, even if it is not samsung or sony? Also, where should I buy the TV, a chain place like best buy/circuit city, or a local electronics place? Finally, should I go ahead and buy one within the next couple of weeks, or wait whenever TVs will go down in price? Thanks for answering.
Anyone know about ProScan lcd tv? Was at best buy and seen this tv (ProScan) there very cheap 429 for a 37 inch..Picture looks great and the reviews on best buy were good..Just wondering if anyone here knew anything about them?...Thanks

Samsung 40" 1080p 60hz LCD TV - never once reviewed? I have googled the specific model number, LN40B500, and I cannot find one customer review for this television. It is advertised under Best Buys Black Friday ad, and this specific model # is not being sold at Samsung.com, so I'm tryin to check out some customer opinions - and there are absolutely none! Is this TV brand new? Or crap TV's made from spare parts for Black Friday only? I just cannot believe there is not one customer review to be found!
In need of a good LCD tv brand.? So my mum was wanting to get the family a new TV, and knows very little about them, and I know just enough to namedrop and pricedrop haha. What I needed was, we're looking for a 46+ TV, NOT plasma, and a 1,100 dollar limit (a little more wouldn't hurt) We were planning on getting a Vizio, we've heard nothing but good reviews on their TV's, but as a newer brand, I wanted to learn more, and found out that their customer support and warranty program was absolutely atrocious. When it came to quality, several sources tell me Sony, Sharp, and LG are the best brands out there, but for sharps stick to Aquos. LG and the aquos turned out far too expensive for what we wanted. So we decided to look at Sony. At Bestbuy.com, we found a 52' Sony Bravia for 1,100. The specs are 1080p, 60hz. I'm not sure what those are, but if they deal with sound, it won't be a problem for us. Small living room, and a system already here anyway haha. So my question. Does anyone out there know of a TV brand, LCD, that has a good tv for under 1,100 that comes with a great company backed warranty, and won't break down in 3 months like I hear alot of smaller companies (RCA, Sanyo) seem to have.
Should I buy a 40"-46" Samsung LCD TV, or plasma, or dlp? Went looking at tv's today. I checked out all the brands. They best picture (color, pixelation, picture change) we found was Samsung (the runner up was Sony). We didn't like the black tones in the DLP, but the salesman said it's better in the dark. (I know the picture overall is better, but color pixelation?) The plasma and the LCD were beautiful, but I have read in user reviews that they have problems. The plasma has burn-in issues and the LCD TV would mute itself randomly. I guess there was a firmware update for the LCD that fixes it. Also, they mentioned Samsung has crappy customer service. Am I reading the rantings of a few or should we go with a different brand? PLEASE HELP! All experiences appreciated!
Is Samsung LN-T4071F 40" LCD TV a good HDTV? (link)? I bought it at Best Buy about a year ago for $2500. I am not too sure if they have already made more better tv's or should i keep this until the "next big thing" comes out? http://www.retrevo.com/s/Samsung-LN-T4071F-TVs-review-manual/id/3379ci454/t/1-2/
What's the best TV I can get for my money? I would like a plasma or preferably LCD television. I'm looking for something that's full HD (1080p), has at least 1 HDMI port, and it must be 22" or better. It'd be nice if it had a DVI input, but it's not a must. I know there are a lot of options, but I don't want to spend much money. 500$ is the absolute most I'll spend. Even more importantly though, I want a TV that has good reviews, simply because I get obsessive sometimes about little flaws. It's ok if maybe the user interface isn't the best or maybe the remote sucks, I'm talking more about functionality. Feel free to post a lot of options, I'm not an impulse buyer so I'd like to look at quite a few before I make my choice. Thanks in advance. I was thinking of the Samsung T240HD, has anyone had experience with this display, or just knows something about it that I may not?
What are the best LCD HDTV brand For about $1780? I thought Sony was good but then i read some peoples reviews and they were having sound problems with the tv. Is Samsung a good brand for a hdtv and do they last long? What are good companies? That would be appreciated.
Please Help. LCD TV Decision!? Im debating on buying one of these 2 LCD TV's but I cant make a decision, the First one is 52" (6 inches larger) and comes with a 4 year best buy warantee. It also has a Dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1 Here is the link: http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-tvs/sharp-aquos-lc-52d85u/4507-6482_7-33240902.html?tag=mncolBtm;rnav The second one is a 46" which is newer comes with ethernet hookup for internet programs such as youtube and can also access home network... it has a dynamic ratio of 150,000:1 which is much higher than the first one.. LN40B500 40" 1080p LCD HDTV which is 600 but didn't get great reviews from what i've seen OR 40" BRAVIA S Series HDTV Model Number: KDL-40S5100 which is like an alien I have no idea what they are saying.. and the last 1 Samsung - PN42B450 - 42.3" plasma TV...If all those are bad...Please tell me what a decent HDTV I can buy for under 800 bucks and would be best quality..thanks alot!
best budget lcd/plasma or best deal uk? I have £500 uk pounds. i am going crazy looking for a decent tv. i want a 42" theres just too many to choose from with mixed reviews for all. i went to argos, comet and marks and spencers and looked at the ones on display. i love the samsung models. sleek and nice. the samsung plasma looked good, although one store the glass was broken, another it looked dimmer than the lcd. but overall it was a brilliant bright picture and didn't distort with fast movement. the lcd's looked a bit frosty in comparison. and they didn't handle fast movement as well. i looked at 100hz lcd and that was no better. but I have never owned a plasma before, but even though its only 720p it looks as good as my current 1080i hd tv. there is a couple of lcd's in my price range. a samsung one and an lg. both 40/42 they both have plenty of sockets for xbox, hd box etc. should i stick to what I know or should i push the boat out and buy the plasma? i want something thats going to last. but i do like good picture quality and sound quality. my current lcd tv has some crazy image retention and screen burn. its 4 years old and has always suffered badly. it started almost as the warranty run out! but it is fab other than that and I want something thats of equal value! it cost £517 reduced from £900 4 years ago.

Reviews on Samsung LED LCD TV? Anyone who has bought the new Samsung LED LCD TV, released in March 2009, what do you think? I was looking to buy a 40" LCD, either the newest "750" model, $1,400 + or the new LED LCD at $2,300 +. I know the LED is thinner, but is the picture better, or have you had any unforeseen problems (since it is a brand new model)?
Need opinions on the LCD tv on Walmarts front page of the black friday ad? I really want an LCD or Plasma t.v. but can't really afford one. That seems like a great price for a 42" 1080p LCD. I have read a lot of reviews on Polaroids 37" tv's only lasting for a few months. Can anyone give me honest opions or facts on this particular tv. Will it be o.k. or am I wasting my money?
Can an LCD tv be fixed if the inside is cracked? I have heard mixed reviews about this, I have an lcd tv that fell over while I was out the power button still has a light and goes on but when I turn the tv on you can see where the screen cracked, can this be repaired or is the tv just junk?
I have a question about LCD tv's? I've been reading customer reviews about LCD tv's online and some people mention that they find a dead pixel right out of the box on some of them. What exactly is a dead pixel, and should I specifically avoid those brands that have that problem? I noticed that more than one brand/model of tv is said to have this problem. What causes it? Also, what is the difference between HDTV and EDTV?
What LCD TV to buy for standard def signals? I want to buy a 32" LCD for our bedroom. However, we will not have an HDTV cable box in that room and therefore will be watching lots of basic cable. Reading reviews, alot of people complain about the picture for non-HD channels on plasma/LCD tv's. Any suggestions or wisdom?
How do I get my freeview to work on my Samsung LCD TV? I am having problems getting my Freeview to work on my TV. I have looked at other reviews which say that I need to be on DTV however this button is not on my remote. The TV does have built in Freeview. I have tried all buttons on the remote and they all just say 'no signal.'
What is a good quality flat screen lcd tv to buy between $400-$600? I am looking into getting a tv for my dorm and Im looking (hopefully) for a 32" tv. My friend has a Westinghouse, but there is an audio/visual lag that we cant seem to fix (by the way, any suggestions on how to). Another friend of mine has a 32" Olevia. I have read mixed reviews on both. Is there a better quality tv in my price range?
Can I have your reviews on this tv please? Technika 22" LCD TV with built-in Freeview, DVD player & iPod Dock 22-218 Would you recommend it?, were there any problems? Is it reliable? Please answer if you have had a Technika in the last 3 years or if you have had this particular tv. Thank you in advance Easy 10 points! Adam
Samsung 32" LCD tv is fuzzy on "regular" digital channels...? i have the "component cable" that came with the HD box provided by my cable company. i also have an "S" video cable and the standard RG6 hooked up as well. I am just not satisfied with the picture on the regular channels...it looks fuzzy to me, but the HD channels look awesome (all 20 or so of them). is there anything i can do to make the other channels come in clearer? i've heard of HDMI cables, but will that solve my problem and is it worth the money. i have a Samsung LNT3242 series tv (32"LCD). I read reviews on it before i bought it and it was rated very high, but i'm not happy with what i'm seeing so far. This is on Time Warner cable, not Dish or DirecTV

How do I tune the color quality on my Samsung LCD HD TV? I just bought a Samsung LN-40A630 40" LCD HD TV, and I was wondering how to tune the color. I have read in some reviews that the color qualities from the factory are not set very good and that you can tune them better and get a better picture. Is that true? Thanks for any answers
The picture is not clear on my new 37" LCD Olevia TV. Is it because Im connecting basic cable thru my old VCR? I purchased the $14 basic cable (non-digital) through my provider and my brand new LCD TV does not have a cable input so I have to connect to cable using my 10 year old VCR. Could that be the reason why the picture is not as crisp as I had hoped for? Do I need digital cable to use a flat panel TV? If I need a new DVD or VCR player to connect to the TV for a better picture, which brand/model would be the least expensive one I could get away with? I'm regretting not purchasing the LG LCD TV, but this Olevia got excellent reviews and I purchased it through an online store so I'm not able to return it. Please help! Thank you.
What do you think about the Sony Bravia LCD TV range? In particular the W series? Im thinking of buying the Sony Bravia KLD -40W2000. I read amazing reviews on it but after having gone to see it in a shop, some of the assistants told me it was overrated, and overly-priced. I looked pretty good though. If you have considered this tv yourself or even have one please let me know what you think. I need a final push before making this investment. Thanks.
What is a good contrast ratio for an lcd tv? I was looking to buy a couple of bedroom lcd's and was looking at a 23" Samsung (http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-and-plasma/samsung-ln-s2351w-23/4507-6482_7-31791672.html?tag=sub), until I found this 26" Westinghouse. http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?catg=535&item=368476&prDeTab=2&pCatg=5883#A The only difference I could find was the contrast ratio; the Samsung was 3000:1 and the Westinghouse was 800:1. Is contrast ratio a big deal, and is 800:1 fair, or should I get the samsung?
