What bulbs do the Samsung LCD Rear Projection DLP televisions use? Hello! So I've decided to start looking around for the bulb that goes in place of the lamp housing for a Samsung LCD Rear Projection DLP television. I own a 2008 ToC samsung lcd television. How do I turn the store demo mode off? It's not in the menu? ? I purchased the television at a best buy as an open item, it was a brand new tv but had no manual..soo the store demo mode is still on and keeps reseting my picture settings once about every thirty minutes or so. it's not an option in the menu, so i'm not sure how to remove it?

Samsung LCD television vs Philips LCD television? I have been taking quotations on several televisions. Apart from Samsung and Philips, there was the Sony (but the low class KDL-40U2000). The Samsung I've seen is the LE 37S71B and the Philips is PF7331. Sometimes the sellers try to make use of the bombastic brand names to sell out LCDs. However one must compare the specs and from what I can see, Samsung has a contrast ratio higher than Philips. But what about options? Philips have PixelPlus with this panel. Seems a cool option (though at a higher cost!). Anyone to help me decide which panel is best? Please list reasons for your decision. Thanks.
I have a Samsung LCD television? The picture on the left side of the t is starting to fade...? The screen becomes dark and black and adapts to any color for the entire left half of screen. Seems as though LCD is giving out or something. Please advise... Television only 1 year young.

disturbance samsung lcd television connected to computer? I have a samsung lcd television with a vga input connection and a new computer with a nvidia graphic plate with 2 output connections , vga and dvi . The computer monitor is an lcd hunday . When I connect both outputs , one to the tv and the other to the monitor apears a disturbance to the image received by the tv set together with a loud sound there . Connected separately every the monitor or the tv screen , make no problems . I have just bought a Samsung LCD full HD T.V but I am only receiving the analogue channels ? I bought a Samsung LCD full HD Television which has freeview built in, But it is only picking up the analogue channels. We have followed the instructions but still not receiving digital channels. The location of the TV is not a problem, as my brothers TV works fine in the same place with the same ariel and his receives all channels. I also cant find the button on the remote which can change DTV to TV, any help with where that button is ?
Is it normal for a new 22 inch Samsung LCD television to be fuzzy? I purchased a brand new Samsung 22in LCD television from Sears. In the store, the display was clear, bright, and overall looked very nice. I went ahead and purchased the unit. What really sold me, was the fact that the unit was on sale for $80 below regular price and even the saleslady commented, "Oh yea, Samsung is considered to be a premium brand." However, when I brought it home, the display look "fuzzy," "pixely," and looked far worse then the display. Well I understand that Sears has it hooked up to HD cable and has special settings to make it look better in the store, I don't think that the display should look this bad. Even when hooked up to DVD or video game systems, the display looks weird. Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this issue, or should I exchange the unit for an RCA television. The only problem with exchanging is the fact that they will charge a 15% restocking fee because the unit has been opened. And by the way, I am using an analog cable signal (straight from the wall, directly into the television hook-up. Does not pass through a converter box). Someone said that this could be issue, but I am not sure.I am also sitting about 5 and a half feet away from the unit. Any help would be appreciated!!

Is there a way to raise the resolution on a Samsung LCD television connected to a PC? I'm running a PC with Windows 7 and an Nvidia Geforce GTS 250. From the graphics card, I have two DVI to VGA adapters, each of which goes to a separate monitor. One of them displays fine, however the other is a Samsung LNR2050 LCD television that has a PC in slot (so I can only assume it was meant to be capable of displaying for a PC), and that one is only displaying at a resolution of 800x600 and I can't raise it. I've searched for drivers for the monitor specifically and I can't seem to find anything. What can I do?

Do 2010 model Samsung LCDs still have bad caps? I recently purchased a Samsung LCD television, model LN46C630, and now that I've been reading all of the horrible experiences with bad caps after a year, I'm hoping I don't encounter the same problem. Does anyone know if these caps have been replaced by high quality ones or if the design "flaw" is still in effect? By recently purchased I mean 11/06/2010, so about a month ago.

How do I use Picture In Picture for my Samsung 5 Series 52" LCD Television? I've look though the owners manual, but it doesn't show me how to use it. It only shows me how to get there and operate it. When I get there, the PIP isn't highlighted, so when I try to scroll down to it. It just skips to the next option. Do I need some sort of receiver to use this feature? Because I would love to use this feature. Do i have to enable something? Can anyone PLEASE help me? I appreciate your answer.
Samsung LCD TV, problem turning on? I have a 52 inch Samsung LCD Television that is only about a year old. When you turn it on, it clicks on, then off, then on, then off, like 6 times before it finally decides it has enough power to stay on. Once it finally turns on, there are like purple little crystalized looking specs all over the screen. At that point, I'll turn it off, and turn it right back on, then they go away and everything is completely fine. The tv at that point will be fine for as long as it stays on. Picture and quality is awesome. Any ideas on what it is or easy remedies to fix it? Thanks in advance for any help! P.S. Surge Protector is top of the line and in good shape. I tried plugging directly into the wall, with the same results.

I need help with connecting my MacBook to my 40" Samsung LCD television? I can get it to work somewhat, but the reso on the tv isn't working properly. I tried changing through the different resos, etc, but I still can't get it to stretch and fit the LCD tv properly. The top menu and dock are cut-off. How do I fix this so the menu and dock show up as well? I'm kind of drunk so forgive me if this doesn't make sense, and I'll clarify in the morning... I'm connecting it with 2 cables. Advice on the which 40"-42" LCD television (Samsung, LG or Vizio)? Well, we finally gave up on Sony. The poor product quality of four tvs along with the terrible Customer Service was too much. It's sad that we enjoyed returning it. Also, it looks like we are back at Walmart since both Sears and Best Buys "extended warranties" start the date of purchase, not at the end of the manufacturer's warranty. I don't know about the rest of you, but why should I have to pay for a warranty to cover what is already covered? Not to mention their warranties are close to double for a shorter time period. Now we are trying to decide whether we want to go with a Samsung LN40C530, a LG 42LG450 or a Vizio VT420M. I have researched a lot on the internet, and despite conflicting information on several sites, all seem comparable. We would appreciate any experiences, information, etc. on these tvs.
Will I be able to use my roof top antenna with my Samsung LCD TV after the digital transition? I have a 32" Samsung LCD TV. I can view HD channels with my roof top antenna presently. I am assuming that means that I do not need a converter box, however, if I am wrong please advise me otherwise. Will I still be able to use my roof top antenna after the transition to digital. A couple years ago, I bought a Samsung Television LCD TV on black friday...I was told that since I bought it on black friday they told me it would not have PIP...When I was on my PS3 I accidently hit a button and the PIP screen showed up in the corner. After doing some experimenting, I found that my TV source and AV source it would skip over the PIP button. However, on my PS3 I could select it... what's causing my samsung LCD tv screen to go monochrome and green? Happens when receiving digital signal.? It's a Samsung LE32B450C4W LCD HD Ready Digital Television, 32 Inch. Analog signal is fine, only digital channels turn green - pc input is fine too.
Why am I getting "no signal" on Samsung LCD TV from Dish Network box? My grandfather recently got the Samsung LN52A650, which is a 52 inch LCD television. He currently only has 2 components hooked up. One is "WebTV", which is connected to the side, standard (yellow, white, and red) A/V input. This "source" is known as AV2 (in the television). The other component is a Dish Network box, which is connected using component cables, to what is known to the TV as "Component 1". All of this was installed just a couple of weeks ago, and worked fine, although he hadn't yet used the WebTV. Yesterday he asked me to turn on the WebTV, and not knowing (at the time) how it was connected, I just started changing the TV channel (which had just remained on Component 1 so he could watch Dish Network TV), and ever since, I can't get Component 1 to work again. I managed to get WebTV/AV2 working fine, but when I go back to component 1, the TV says "searching for signal" for a few seconds, then it says "no signal". After a lot of screwing around, I've determined that the TV essentially knows that something is plugged in to Component 1, it just thinks that the device (the Dish Network box) is not powered on. Because I can get the same error on AV2 if I go to it without turning WebTV on. Once I turn it on, the error goes away, and everything is good. Additional information: There is also another component input ("Component 2"). I plugged in to that to see what would happen, and still "searching for signal" for a few seconds, then "no signal". Sorry for the lengthy details, but I guess the bottom line is I am asking - How do I get the TV to recognize that the Dish box is in fact turned on, so I can get my grandfather watching TV again? Thanks in advance for any help! (BTW, a guy from Dish is coming on Sunday, but I'd like to help him fix it before then if possible)
Problem with Samsung ln19c350d1d LCD television? I purchased a new Samsung ln19c350d1d flat screen television in May and it has been working fine until recently. Every now and then whenever I would turn it on, the power light would continue to flicker and whenever that would happen, neither the buttons nor the remote would work. Now the power light flickers every time and the buttons and remote don't work at all (on one or two occasions a button did work, but it would generally only happen once) The television itself works fine in terms of display. I can still watch it, but it is still very frustrating because I can't easily change the volume or even turn the television off without unplugging it entirely. There was nothing in the troubleshooting guide about anything like this, so I am kind of at a loss. Does anybody know what might be wrong and if there is something I can do to fix it?

How do you connect a HP Home Edition Laptop to a Samsung 32'' LCD Television? What Cable do i need? I'm currently trying to link my Laptop to my TV. In order to watch films on my Tv rather than on my laptop screen, I was wondering how i do this, I know people who have done so but with Mac Notebooks, If anyone has the name of the cable i need, Maybe a link as to where to buy them? Extended warranty on new LCD television good idea ot not necessary? Getting ready to purchase a new 52' Samsung LCD 650 series, they want $400 for 5 years warranty. If they have to service more than 3 times they replace it etc. Its hard to justify a quarter of the cost of the tv to warranty, any thoughts?

More detailed: i have a LCD samsung LE26R7 television. how can i tell if it is 1080i or p? i have looked on the internet and cannot find the model of the product, the back of the television has a hdmi port, and hd compatible slots for use with things like the xbox 360 (red, blue, green.) at the moment i use a standard hd cable that comes with the xbox 360 but when i upgrade to the ps3 i want to know what is the best quality picture i can get out of the ps3 and my tv. If i got a hdmi cable would it make any differemce to the standard hd cables?
Questions about extended warranties for LCD Televisions? I am getting ready to purchase a Samsung LNT4061F 40" LCD television. I think I am going to purchase it from an online site called Vann's electronics. The price is great and there is no shipping or tax. My only problem is that a five year extended warranty on their site is going to cost $399.99. Where would you reccomend purchasing an extended warranty from at a cheaper cost. I found a web-site called D-TV express that says they have a 5 year in home plan for $139. That makes me skepticable but I"m not sure. I would like to purchase and extended warranty but preferrably at a price cheaper than $400 but I want a reliable reputable warranty. Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I still decide I want to get the extended warranty what are some options other than paying $400 from the web-site??

connect laptop to LCD television? I have Dell Inspiron 1501. I want to hook up to Samsung LCD television. On the TV manual, the diagram show I need 1.D-sub cable and 2. PC audio cable. Samsung 750 and 850.? The Samsung LCD television models 750 and 850 have a content library. Is it possible to store pictures and videos in there, and if so what is the capacity of it? Also, does the television have any wireless internet capabilities? Thanks.
Which TV provides better contrast Samsung A950 LED LCD TV or Sony's XBR8 LED LCD TV? I just recently purchased a Samsung LN55A950 and was comparing it for months to the XBR8 55 inch LED LCD TV as well as the new edgelit LED LCD TV's Samsung has released. I love the A950's colors but I was just wondering what anyone else with one of these Televisions thought was more bang for your buck. Thanks!
Help in setting up my new samsung LCD TV? Hi I have just bought a Samsung LE37R8 television and am using Virgin Media. The picture is OK but I'm looking for any advice to make the picture as as good as possible. I have connected them using a scart and have adjusted the virgin settings to 'widescreen' which appears to have made quite a difference. Any further advice for improvements would be welcomed. Also, I have no idea how to connect my playstation (I use it for DVD's at the moment) or what buttons to press to watch a film. Thankyou in advance.
Sennheiser RS 110 Wireless Headphone frequency connection problem to Samsung LCD TV? How does one power on the Sennheiser RS110 wireless headphones and have them work the first time around? I have to go the a rather painful 5-10 minute (sometimes more) trial and error process of powering down my TV and/or headphones several times in order for the audio to come in properly. What is the correct sequence? Headphones on first then television? Hoping someone has some insight. And yes I have connected the RCA audio output to the base. It's very hit and miss it seems and doesn't seem to be a very common problem. Perhaps I have a defective pair?
I just bought a 26' samsung LNT2653 lcd hdtv, and i have a question about it regarding with the ps3? I have learned that al lcd tvs have a fixed pixel count at 720p. When i hooked the ps3 to the tv via hdmi and set the video settings, it said that the system could output a maximum resolution of 1080i. Does this mean that any 1080i source material like blue-ray discs will be downscaled to 720p, or does my television actually have the capabilty to output 1080i? So if it does downscale to 720p, won't it be better to just set the video setting at 720p since it is progressive which is better than interlace(1080"i")? So kinda off topic.For any people who have downloaded the lastest update for the ps3 which can upscale games and dvds, what would the best setting be?(Upscale:Normal,Full,Off, or Smooth:On, Off.) And at what resoultion would be best for playing ps1 and ps2 games.(1080i, 720p, or their native resolution at 480p?
